The kilnformed goblets were made in response to a call for pieces to be donated to a "Goblet Grab" fundraiser. They were well received, so we have included them to illustrate the possibilities of special requests.

The "bowl" of the glass is formed by slumping a 5" glass blank through a flat mold with a central hole. The rim is finished by sawing off the excess glass, grinding on diamond laps, and polishing with cerium oxide. The stem is cut, polished and laminated glass strips.

The rocks are collected from the Bay of Fundy shore of New Brunswick, Canada.
